Bloomington Bobcats Athletics Club

The Bloomington Bobcats Athletic Club offers independent athletic teams for middle school through high school athletes across multiple sports.

We are a non-denominational, Christian faith-based club that truly cares about building young people of strong character. At the heart of everything we do is a simple mission: compete with all your heart, play fair, treat the game and one another with genuine respect, and live out the Golden Rule. We’d rather lose a game with integrity than win and lose our composure. This belief shapes every practice, every game, and every relationship in our club.

Whether your child is just beginning their athletic journey, chasing a personal best on the cross country course, building skills and confidence on the soccer field, growing their game from JV to varsity on the basketball court, or bringing energy and heart to cheerleading, there’s a welcoming place for them here with the Bobcats.

Cross Country

We’re excited to offer a positive, encouraging cross country program where runners of all ages can grow in strength, confidence, and character!

Our youngest athletes participate in the fun and supportive Little Bobcats Running Club, while our high school runners compete at a Varsity level. Practices and home meets are held at Emmanuel Church in Bloomington.

The season gives athletes the opportunity to challenge themselves, celebrate personal growth, and enjoy the camaraderie of being part of a team.

As a faith-based club, we emphasize running with heart, perseverance, and joy. We celebrate every PR, every effort, and every act of sportsmanship and are always striving to honor God with our attitude and actions. Whether you’re just starting out or chasing big goals, you’ll find encouragement, support, and a team that lifts each other up every step of the way. There truly is nothing like the camaraderie of a Cross Country Team!

If your child loves to run (or wants to discover they do!), we’d love to welcome them to the Bobcats family!

Soccer

We’re excited to build a strong soccer program for boys and girls who are passionate about the game. We will be fielding a high school team, and experienced (or willing to learn) middle schoolers are warmly welcome to join as well.

Practices are held at Maple Grove Christian Church in Bloomington, with home games played at Karst Farm Park. Away games may take us as far south as Kentucky or as far north as Fort Wayne, giving our athletes the chance to compete across the region.

As a Christian club, we strive to compete with heart, intensity, and excellence on the field. At the same time, we place a high value on good sportsmanship, respect for teammates and opponents, and using athletics as an opportunity to be a light for Jesus both in victory and in defeat. We’d rather uphold our values and play with integrity than win at the cost of our character.

If your son or daughter loves soccer and wants to grow their skills, build lasting confidence, strengthen their faith, and be part of a supportive team family, we’d love to have them join the Bobcats!

Basketball

We’re excited to offer basketball programming for athletes of all skill levels. For our youngest players, we have fun, skill-building sessions for our Little Bobcats (ages 6–10) in a supportive environment. We also hope to field competitive teams for ages 11 and up (including middle school and high school levels).

Teams meet and practice at Twin Lakes Recreation Center in Bloomington, with practices typically held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Games are played throughout south central Indiana and as far north as Fort Wayne. Several tournaments are played throughout the season.

As a faith-based club, we strive to compete hard and play with excellence, while always keeping the focus on strong sportsmanship, respect for others, and being a light for Jesus both on and off the court.

If your child loves basketball and wants to grow in skill, confidence, and character, we’d love to have them join the Bobcats family!

Cheerleading

We’re excited to offer a cheer program for girls who love to cheer on their teams and shine with energy and spirit! Open to girls ages 6–14, our cheer squad focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and character in a fun, supportive environment.

Practices and games are held at Twin Lakes Recreation Center in Bloomington. The season runs from early November through late February.

As a faith-based club, we are committed to keeping all content and choreography wholesome and God-honoring. Our cheerleaders learn to cheer with joy, enthusiasm, and integrity while lifting up their teammates, showing respect, and reflecting Christ-like character both on the sidelines and in the community. We believe cheer is more than routines and stunts; it’s an opportunity to be a positive light and encouragement to others.

If your daughter has a big heart, lots of spirit, and wants to grow in skill, confidence, and faith while having fun supporting our Bobcats teams, we’d love to welcome her to the squad!
